Rev. Ash D. Harmon, Pastor
Ash Harmon is a United Methodist Licensed Local Pastor and was appointed to the Celeste/Kingston Charge by Bishop Michael McKee in 2017. He is the senior pastor for both Celeste First United Methodist Church and Kingston United Methodist Church, and serves on the Congregational Assessment, Leadership, and Transformation (CART) Crisis Team under the North Texas Conference Center for Leadership Development.
Ash is a native of Farmersville, Texas and a fifth-generation Methodist minister. He is a bi-vocational pastor also currently serving as a law enforcement officer, beginning his police career in 2002. His education includes Psychology and Peer Counseling, Criminal Justice, and an ongoing United Methodist Course of Study through Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. He is the author of the book Fingerprinting Faith: 52 Faith Lessons from an American Cop.
